Fri Oct 16 — Korean press has tracked BTS's Jin topping a K-pop fan-voting app's individual ranking for well over two years running. We measured English Wikipedia reads for his page over the same recent stretch. They fell to the lowest point in 45 days.
Fri Sep 25 — STARPOLL's Male Idol leaderboard put Jin fifth on 16 September with 4,574 votes. Eight days later he had 19,663 — a 4.3x rise — and had moved past 2PM's Junho into third place. Junho's own count rose too; Jin's just rose faster.
Thu Sep 17 — Jin's 'Don't Say You Love Me' crossed 1 billion Spotify streams around 18-19 August; Spotify's Billions Club formally added it on 12 September. English Wikipedia reading of Jin sat at 0.93x and 1.01x of his average on those two dates.
Thu Sep 17 — LE SSERAFIM closed BlizzCon 2026 in Anaheim on 13 September. Their English Wikipedia reading rose to 2.89x baseline the next day. Three other widely-reported K-pop stories this week produced no measurable reading change at all.

Thu Sep 10 — Jin has topped a Korean idol poll for 68 straight weeks. On English Wikipedia lookups he is fifth of seven BTS members. But ranks three to six sit inside 7% of each other, so the ranking barely means anything in the middle.
