The data is a file, which shapes the rule. We keep it simple, and where we can we keep it in your favour.
Change your mind before you have downloaded anything and we refund you in full, without asking why.
Once the file is on your machine we cannot take it back, so a licence is non-refundable after download. That is the ordinary rule for digital data. The two exceptions below matter more than the rule.
If a number in a table you licensed is wrong, you get a full refund even after downloading it. That is our mistake, not yours. We sell accuracy, so we carry the cost of missing it: report the error and we refund the licence, correct the figure, tell everyone else holding the file, and add the correction to the public record with the cause it came from.
We do this whether or not you ask for the money back. The record gets the correction either way — it is published before it is convenient.
This one is ours alone. Before anyone buys, we say what these tables cannot answer — the country lists carry no viewing hours, cast lists are incomplete, export figures run about eighteen months behind, and acts with no English Wikipedia article produce no row at all.
If you told us what you were trying to measure and we did not warn you that the tables could not measure it, that is a refund, download or no download. Selling someone the near miss is worse than selling them nothing, and we would rather pay for the error than keep the money.
Write to parkintaek2@gmail.com with what you bought and what went wrong. A person reads it and answers within a working day. There is no form, and you will not be asked to justify a refund we have already said you are owed.
